Union Minister of Communications Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia inaugurates Samriddhi Kendra under Samriddh Gram Phygital Services Initiative at Umri Village, Guna District, Madhya Pradesh

• Samriddhi Kendra = village-level Integrated Phygital (Physical + Digital) Service Centre operationalised under the Samriddh Gram Phygital Services Pilot of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications.
• Aims to convert passive BharatNet fibre connectivity at Gram Panchayats into an active service-delivery platform covering health, education, agriculture, finance and e-governance.
• UPSC relevance: governance + digital inclusion + rural development convergence; fits GS-II (Welfare schemes) and GS-III (IT, ICT, infrastructure).
