Research and Development Projects in Ayurveda

• Ayurgyan Scheme is the Ministry of Ayush's flagship Central Sector Scheme (since 2021-22) channelling R&D funds into Ayurveda via three components: CME, Research & Innovation (R&I), and Ayurveda Biology Integrated Health Research (ABIHR).
• Relevant for UPSC because it intersects GS-II (Health/Schemes), GS-III (S&T, IPR, Indigenous knowledge) and AYUSH-sector policy questions.
