VB-GRAM Act 2025 Guarantees 125 Days of Rural Employment to Drive Viksit Bharat Vision

• Viksit Bharat–Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Act, 2025 (VB–G RAM G) is the statutory successor/reform of MGNREGA 2005, raising the wage-employment guarantee from 100 to 125 days per rural household per financial year.
• Anchors rural livelihood security to the Viksit Bharat @2047 vision; administered by the Ministry of Rural Development.
• Received Presidential assent in 2025; commenced across rural India w.e.f. 01 July 2026.
