India-EU Trade and Technology Council 2nd Workshop on EV Charging Technologies: Advanced Cooperation on Standardisation, Smart and Bidirectional Charging, Megawatt Charging Systems, and Wireless Charging

• 2nd India-EU Workshop on EV Charging Technologies held at the Joint Research Centre (JRC), Ispra, Italy, 15–17 March 2026 under TTC Working Group 2 (Green & Clean Energy Technologies).
• Jointly organised by Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (OPSA), GoI, DG RTD (European Commission), in partnership with JRC, Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) and EU Delegation to India.
• Focus: standardisation, smart & bidirectional (V2G) charging, Megawatt Charging Systems (MCS), and wireless charging — flagship deliverable of India-EU green-mobility cooperation.
• Examinable as a bilateral S&T cooperation node intersecting GS-II (India-EU) and GS-III (energy/e-mobility, indigenous tech).
