Mission Poshan 2.0 empowers frontline functionaries by providing them with smartphones

• Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 is an Integrated Nutrition Support Programme of the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD) that subsumes Anganwadi Services, Poshan Abhiyaan and the Scheme for Adolescent Girls.
• Tech backbone: smartphones + Growth Monitoring Devices (GMDs) + Poshan Tracker at every Anganwadi Centre (AWC) for real-time nutrition surveillance.
• Examinable for UPSC under schemes for child nutrition, governance through tech, and SDG-2 (Zero Hunger) commitments.
