• Installed capacity has crossed 520.51 GW (Jan 2026) with non-fossil share at 52.3%, making India the 3rd-largest renewable energy producer globally.
• Aspirants must master schemes (Saubhagya, DDUGJY, RDSS, PM-Surya Ghar, PM-KUSUM), tariff/discom reforms (LPS Rules 2022), and the energy-transition target of 500 GW non-fossil by 2030.
