Fisheries and Aquaculture Infrastructure Development Fund (FIDF)

• FIDF is a dedicated concessional finance fund of ₹7,522.48 crore operationalised by the Department of Fisheries from FY 2018-19 to create/upgrade fisheries & aquaculture infrastructure.
• Disbursed via Nodal Loaning Entities (NLEs) — NABARD, NCDC and all scheduled banks — with 3% interest subvention by GoI.
• Cross-cutting relevance: Blue Economy, PMMSY linkage, Sagarmala convergence, fisher livelihoods, post-harvest losses.
