Indian Railways Commissions Kavach on 190 Route Kilometres of Prayagraj–Kanpur Section of Delhi–Howrah High-Density Corridor
- Kavach is India's indigenously developed Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system, certified to Safety Integrity Level-4 (SIL-4).
- On 22 March 2026, Indian Railways commissioned Kavach on the Prayagraj (Excl.) – Kanpur (Excl.) section, 190 Route Kilometres, of the Delhi–Howrah High-Density Corridor, paving the way for 160 kmph operations.
- For UPSC: bridges GS-III (Infrastructure, Indigenous Tech, Safety) with Mission Raftaar, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and rail-accident policy.
