AgriStack’s Farmers Registry Crosses 9.20 Crore Farmer IDs Nationwide
- AgriStack is India's farmer-centric Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) under the Digital Agriculture Mission (DAM), built on three foundational registries: Farmers' Registry, Geo-referenced Village Maps, Crop Sown Registry.
- The Farmer ID ("Kisan ki Pehchaan") is an Aadhaar-linked digital identity for landholding farmers, enabling seamless DBT delivery for PM-KISAN, PMFBY, MSP procurement and KCC.
- As of 19 March 2026, 9.20 crore Farmer IDs have been generated nationwide; relevant for GS-II (governance/DBT) and GS-III (agriculture, technology).
