MAJOR PROJECTS UNDER THE SAGARMALA PROGRAMME

• Sagarmala is the Government of India's flagship port-led development programme under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW), launched in March 2015.
• Aims to harness India's 7,500+ km coastline, 14,500 km of potentially navigable waterways, and strategic location on key international maritime trade routes to reduce logistics cost and boost EXIM trade.
