Under Mission Poshan 2.0, during 15th FC cycle period, two lakh Anganwadi Centres located in Government buildings being strengthened as Saksham Anganwadis

• Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 is an Integrated Nutrition Support Programme of the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD) addressing malnutrition in children (0-6 yrs), adolescent girls, pregnant women and lactating mothers.
• 2 lakh Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) located in Government buildings are being upgraded to Saksham Anganwadis during the 15th Finance Commission cycle (2021-22 to 2025-26) at 40,000 AWCs/year.
• A Facial Recognition System (FRS) in the Poshan Tracker app enables last-mile tracking of Take-Home Ration (THR); mandatory from 1 July 2025.
