Ministry of Education issues 3-Year Action Plan for “Nasha Mukt Vidyalaya” under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

• Joint advisory by Union Home Secretary (MHA) and Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy (Ministry of Education) operationalising a 3-Year Action Plan for "Nasha Mukt Vidyalaya" across all schools in mission mode.
• Forms the school-level pillar of the larger Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) (launched 15 Aug 2020 by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment).
• Relevant for UPSC under Social Justice (GS-II), Internal Security – drug trafficking (GS-III), and child/adolescent health (GS-II).
