Khelo India Tribal Games

• Khelo India Tribal Games (KITG) 2026 — India's first dedicated national multi-sport event exclusively for tribal athletes, organised under the Khelo India umbrella.
• Inaugural edition hosted in Chhattisgarh (Raipur, Jagdalpur, Sarguja/Surguja), 25 March – 3 April 2026, with 60,000+ athletes from 30 states/UTs competing for 338 medals.
• Relevant to UPSC for GS-II (welfare of STs, government schemes), GS-I (tribal culture/society) and current affairs on sports policy.
