ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW TEXTILE PARKS UNDER PM MITRA SCHEME

• PM MITRA = Pradhan Mantri Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel Parks — a Central Sector Scheme of the Ministry of Textiles to build world-class integrated textile parks operationalising the 5F vision: Farm–Fibre–Factory–Fashion–Foreign.
• 7 sites approved; total outlay ₹4,445 crore up to 2027-28.
• Relevant for UPSC GS-III (Industrial Policy, MSME, Infrastructure, Employment) and as a flagship of "Make in India / Atmanirbhar Bharat" in textiles.
