MoD inks Rs 858 crore contracts for Tunguska Air Defence Missile System & Inspection (Depot Level) of P8I Aircraft
- On 27 March 2026, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) inked two capital-acquisition contracts totalling Rs 858 crore at Kartavya Bhawan-2, New Delhi.
- Contract-1: Rs 445 crore for Tunguska Air Defence Missile Systems for the Indian Army with Russia's JSC Rosoboronexport.
- Contract-2: Rs 413 crore for Depot-Level Inspection of P-8I LRMR aircraft of the Indian Navy with Boeing India Defense Pvt Ltd under the Buy (Indian) category with 100% indigenous content.
