300 Railway Projects Sanctioned in Last 3 Years Under PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan, Covering 13,808 Km (51 New Line, 17 Gauge Conversion, 232 Doubling)

• PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan (NMP) is India's flagship digital, GIS-based multimodal infrastructure planning platform, launched 13 Oct 2021, integrating 16+ ministries via a common geospatial layer.
• Between FY 2022-23 and FY 2025-26, Indian Railways has sanctioned 300 projects covering 13,808 km — 51 New Lines, 17 Gauge Conversions, 232 Doublings — under the NMP institutional mechanism.
• Examinable as a case-study of whole-of-government infrastructure planning, logistics efficiency, and co-operative federalism (GS-II/III).
