CSIR Transfers Indigenous Bio-Bitumen Technology: Turning Farm Residue into Sustainable Roads

• Bio-Bitumen is a renewable binder for road construction produced from lignocellulosic farm residue (crop stubble) via pyrolysis, jointly developed by CSIR-CRRI (New Delhi) and CSIR-IIP (Dehradun).
