• Centrally Sponsored cum Central Sector Scheme for rehabilitation and safety upgradation of selected large dams; co-financed by World Bank and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
• Operationalised on 12 October 2021; runs in two overlapping phases (II + III) over April 2021–March 2031.
• Targets 736 dams across 19 States with outlay of ₹10,211 crore — key vehicle for operationalising the Dam Safety Act, 2021.
