- Delhi–Dehradun Economic Corridor (DDEC) is a ~210 km greenfield, access-controlled expressway linking Akshardham (East Delhi) to Dehradun, slashing travel time from ~6.5 hrs to ~2.5 hrs at a design speed of 100 km/h.
- Built by NHAI under the Bharatmala Pariyojana, it features Asia's one of the longest wildlife elevated corridors (~12 km) through the Rajaji Tiger Reserve/Shivalik landscape.
- Examinable for infrastructure, environment (wildlife mitigation), and federal-cooperation angles in GS-III.
