- The India–Austria Joint Economic Commission (IAJEC) is the institutional bilateral mechanism under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry that periodically reviews trade, investment and economic cooperation between the two countries.
- Its 17th Session (New Delhi, 17 April 2026) coincided with the historic state visit of Austrian Federal Chancellor Dr. Christian Stocker (14–18 April 2026) — the first Austrian Chancellor's visit to India in over four decades.
