Launch of SMILE–Beggary Survey Mobile Application at Chintan Shivir, Chandigarh (24–26 April 2026)

• SMILE–Beggary Survey Mobile App is a digital field-tool launched by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (MoSJE) to capture real-time survey data of persons engaged in begging, under the SMILE Sub-Scheme on Comprehensive Rehabilitation of Persons Engaged in the Act of Begging.
• Examinable as a flagship governance-tech intervention supporting the goal of "Bhiksha Vritti Mukt Bharat" (Begging-Free India).
