• Expands India's ship repair ecosystem beyond Kochi, leveraging Vadinar's natural deep draft for repair of large commercial and foreign-flagged vessels.
• Aligns with Maritime India Vision 2030 and Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047 — relevant for GS-III (Infra, Economy) and GS-II (PSU/governance).
