DRDO opens CBRN Field Training & Demonstration Centre in Delhi

• DRDO's first dedicated CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological & Nuclear) field training and demonstration facility, opened at Burari plains, Delhi on 6 May 2026.
• Sits under the upcoming CBRN Centre of Excellence of INMAS (Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Allied Sciences), a DRDO lab.
• Strategic relevance: strengthens India's preparedness against radiological/nuclear terrorism and CBRN battlefield contingencies — a recurring GS-III internal security & disaster management theme.
