• Inter-Ministerial Briefing (IMB) is a coordinated Government of India media outreach mechanism, currently activated in response to the 2026 West Asia / Gulf crisis, with joint participation by MEA, MoPNG, MoPSW, MSME, and I&B Ministries.
• Functions as a single-window public communication channel covering energy security (oil, LPG, PNG), maritime safety, seafarer repatriation, and diplomatic outreach.
• Relevant for Prelims (institutions, schemes, statistics) and Mains (GS-II IR, GS-III energy/internal security).
