Shivraj Singh Chouhan to Launch Grih Pravesh of 5 Lakh PMAY-G Houses; ₹8,368.50 Crore PMAY-G Mother Sanction and 35 PMGSY-IV Road Projects for Maharashtra

• On 15 May 2026 at Sainik School Ground, Satara (Maharashtra), Union Minister for Rural Development & Agriculture Shivraj Singh Chouhan led a Grih Pravesh for 5 lakh completed PMAY-G houses in Maharashtra and released a Mother Sanction of ₹8,368.50 crore (Central share, FY 2026-27) plus 35 PMGSY-IV road projects.
• The event combined the PMAY-G Beneficiary Conference with the Maha Awaas Abhiyan State Level Award Distribution, in presence of CM Devendra Fadnavis, Dy CMs Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Ajit Pawar.
• Examinable as a flagship rural welfare + connectivity convergence story under GS-II (welfare schemes) and GS-III (infrastructure).
