Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya assesses India's preparedness for CWG 2026 in Glasgow

• High-level review meeting chaired by Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya on 15 May 2026 to assess India's preparations for Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2026, Glasgow, Scotland.
• Meeting also covered the handover ceremony at CWG 2026 closing, when India will receive the baton as host of CWG 2030, Ahmedabad (Amdavad).
• Relevant for GS-II (Governance, Sports Policy) and GS-III (Infrastructure/Economy of sports); tests knowledge of nodal ministry, IOA, SAI and India's hosting commitments.
