IOS SAGAR (INS SUNAYNA) RETURNS TO KOCHI AFTER A LANDMARK DEPLOYMENT

• IOS SAGAR = Indian Ocean Ship SAGAR — an Indian Navy flagship initiative under which INS Sunayna, an OPV, is deployed as a multinational crewed platform with personnel drawn from littoral IOR navies.
• Operationalises India's twin maritime doctrines — SAGAR (Security And Growth for All in the Region) and its 2025 evolution MAHASAGAR (Mutual and Holistic Advancement for Security and Growth Across Regions).
