• Agricola Medal, the highest honour of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the UN, conferred on PM Narendra Modi on 20 May 2026 at FAO HQ, Rome.
• Awarded for leadership in food security, sustainable agriculture and rural development at national and global levels.
• First visit by an Indian Head of Government to FAO HQ in 30 years.
