• State Visit of Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides to India, 20–23 May 2026, hosted by President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 22 May 2026.
• India–Cyprus bilateral ties elevated to a Strategic Partnership, building on PM Modi's June 2025 visit to Cyprus.
• Significance: first major EU engagement after Cyprus assumed/anticipated Presidency of the Council of the EU; bridge to India–EU FTA push.
