PRESIDENT OF INDIA PRESENTS PADMA AWARDS 2026 AT THE CIVIL INVESTITURE CEREMONY-I

• Padma Awards are India's second-, third- and fourth-highest civilian honours (after Bharat Ratna): Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, Padma Shri.
• Instituted in 1954; conferred by the President of India at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Civil Investiture Ceremony, usually March–April (deferred to May in 2026).
• Ceremony-I for the 2026 cycle was held on 25 May 2026, with PV/PB/PS conferred personally by President Droupadi Murmu.
