ADMIRAL KRISHNA SWAMINATHAN, PVSM, AVSM, VSM ASSUMES CHARGE AS THE 27th CHIEF OF THE NAVAL STAFF OF INDIAN NAVY

• Admiral Krishna Swaminathan, PVSM, AVSM, VSM took over as the 27th Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) of the Indian Navy on 31 May 2026, succeeding Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi.
• A Communication and Electronic Warfare specialist, commissioned on 01 July 1987, with sea command of the aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya.
