• CCEA-approved greenfield coastal highway of ~163 km from Rameshwar to Paradeep in Odisha, executed as 2 packages on Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) at a capital cost of ₹8,300.79 crore.
• Part of India's broader Coastal Highway programme and Bharatmala Pariyojana logistics agenda — decongests NH-16 (Golden Quadrilateral) running through Bhubaneswar–Cuttack.
• UPSC relevance: infrastructure financing (HAM), port-led development (Sagarmala/Paradeep), federal project execution, and east-coast economic corridor strategy.
