• NAeG is the apex annual recognition for e-Governance projects in India, administered by the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG) under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.
• The 29th edition (NAeG 2026) selected 17 projects across 7 categories — 10 Gold, 6 Silver, and 1 Jury Award.
• UPSC relevance: digital governance, citizen-centric service delivery, cooperative federalism, AI in public administration, grassroots digitisation (GS-II, GS-III).
