Visit of the delegation from United State (U.S.) for discussions on Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA) between India and the United States from 1 -4th June 2026 at Delhi
- A U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) delegation, led by the Chief Negotiator, visited New Delhi from 1–4 June 2026 to advance the India–U.S. Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA).
- It is a follow-up to the Joint Statement of 7 February 2026 that set the framework for an Interim Agreement on reciprocal trade.
- The BTA is India's largest ongoing bilateral trade negotiation, targeting a USD 30-trillion U.S. market with tariff rationalisation and zero-duty access for key Indian export categories.
