• PM Narendra Modi inaugurated, dedicated and laid foundation stones for development projects worth ~₹2,970 crore in Daman on 5 June 2026, spanning healthcare, civil aviation, tourism, infrastructure, connectivity and public welfare.
• Projects are housed in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (DNH & DD) — a merged UT formed under the DNH and DD (Merger of UTs) Act, 2019.
