Cabinet approves the construction of the General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) at New Capital City, Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh
- General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) is the Central Government's stock of housing for transferable Central staff posted at a station, administered by the Directorate of Estates, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (MoHUA), and constructed by the Central Public Works Department (CPWD).
- CCEA approval on 10 June 2026 sanctions the first-ever GPRA campus in Andhra Pradesh at the new capital Amaravati — ₹1,234.91 crore, 17 acres, 11 towers, 1,504 dwelling units.
