Seven CSIR Technologies Licensed to Industry; Bharatiya Nirdeshak Dravyas Released and Quantum Sensing Components Delivered to DRDO

• CSIR held a Technology Transfer + Bharatiya Nirdeshak Dravya (BND) Release Function at CSIR HQ, New Delhi on 16 June 2026, jointly organised by CSIR-NPL and CSIR-CRRI.
• Three deliverables on one day: 7 CSIR technologies licensed to industry, 10 BNDs (Certified Reference Materials) released, and quantum sensing components handed over to DRDO.
• For UPSC: illustrates the lab-to-land/industry pipeline, India's indigenous metrology push (replacing imported CRMs), and strategic quantum tech under Atmanirbhar Bharat / National Quantum Mission.
