Over 100 Area Officers to be deployed to Support VB–G RAM G Rollout

• VB–G RAM G = Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Act, 2025, the statutory successor to MGNREGA, 2005 which stands repealed w.e.f. 1 July 2026.
• Ministry of Rural Development is deploying 100+ Area Officers as facilitators/resource persons to States/UTs to ensure seamless rollout from 1 July 2026.
• Marks the single largest restructuring of India's rural wage-employment architecture since 2005; examinable across GS-II (governance, welfare schemes) and GS-III (rural economy, employment).
