First Preparatory Meeting of BRICS Women’s Working Group convened by Ministry of Women and Child Development

1. At a Glance

BRICS Women's Working Group (WWG) is a sectoral track under BRICS focused on women-led development, gender equality and women's economic empowerment [1].
Its First Preparatory Meeting under India's 2026 BRICS Chairship was convened virtually on 30 April 2026 by the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD) [1].
