Topic: Nationalism and National Self-determination · NCERT: Class 11, Ch 7 "Nationalism"
Meaning

NCERT (Class 11, Nationalism) argues that if people can freely express all of them, no single identity needs special political recognition. In a democracy, the identity of citizen should include all the others. This stops any one identity, such as religion, from claiming to define the whole nation.
