PM e-Vidya is an umbrella digital education programme launched on 17 May 2020 under the Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan to unify all efforts related to online + on-air + offline education for multi-mode access. [1][2]

Wrong ministry: It is Ministry of Education, not MeitY or Ministry of I&B (despite DTH involvement).
Wrong launch year/context: Many aspirants tag it with NEP 2020; it was actually announced 17 May 2020 under Atma Nirbhar Bharat, before NEP was approved (29 July 2020). [2]
Channel count confusion: Original = 12, expanded to 200 (Budget 2022-23); SWAYAM Prabha has 48 separate DTH channels — these are distinct count sets. [1][2]
SWAYAM vs SWAYAM Prabha: SWAYAM = online MOOCs; SWAYAM Prabha = DTH TV channels. Not interchangeable.
