Meaning
Guru Har Rai and Guru Har Krishan were the seventh and eighth Sikh Gurus. Guru Har Rai (Guru from 1644 to 1661) was the grandson of Guru Hargobind. He kept the cavalry (soldiers on horseback) of his grandfather's time, but mostly avoided war. Guru Har Krishan was his son and became Guru as a small child, at about five years old. He died young, in 1664. Their time was a quieter period between the battles of Guru Hargobind and the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur.
Example
Guru Har Krishan cared for the sick during a smallpox outbreak in Delhi. He caught the disease himself and died in 1664. Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in Delhi marks the place.
