BHASHINI Samudaye: Strengthening India’s Language AI Ecosystem

BHASHINI Samudaye is a collaborative initiative of the Digital India BHASHINI Division (DIBD), MeitY to co-create, govern, and scale language AI solutions for India by convening language experts, academic institutions, civil society, and data practitioners [S1].
It operationalises BHASHINI's mandate under the National Language Translation Mission (NLTM) to eliminate language barriers in digital service delivery across all Indian languages [S1][S2].
